Bonita School Ministries, Released Time Bible Education is a unique program that has been upheld as legal by the Supreme Court whereby students may leave school with parental permission to attend an off-site Bible elective class during the school day providing no state funds are used.

What is Bonita School Ministries?

A one-hour Bible Education elective class offered to Bonita School District students. We are thrilled to launch a 9-week pilot program beginning Tuesday, March 19, 2024, for 3 - 5th graders, at Roynon Elementary. Tuesdays, 12:50 - 1:50 pm.The California Education Code 46014 and Bonita School District Policy# 5113.13 grant Bible and moral education as legal, with parental permission. Students are excused to participate in the elective class to a mobile classroom parked curbside at the school site. No district or state funds are used. The class is free.
